I am using "Nikon Scan 4"
Version 4.0.2 … It came with the scanner. I just set it up as per the user manual (basic set-up). My target was to get a flat scan and manage in post processing. When I scan old Kodachromes I use Digital ICE, with all other films it's turned off. With my (flatbed) Epson GT-X830 I am using Epson Scan with prints and 120 format film. The examples are not processed...
I wanted to show the results right out of the camera. Normally I adjust the blacks using contrast or by setting the black point... it's always a balancing act and as mentioned above my approach is to scan for a flat image to get as much detail as possible...

Clearly, film is a labor of love for you. I liked the images — the train and the fourth ones, especially.
