And if you have a really long lens reach, and good eyes. And familiar with the birds and their favorite spots (branch on top of tree)/

Oops. have to get the whole bird in the frame, though this is a nice shot of his claws.

As is this one, plus the coloration is excellent.

Face is pretty much in focus considering I'm shooting through a 50-year-old, dual-pane sliding glass door.

Tongue shots are rare in my experience.
