among my top three from this set as well! The curious fact of that picture is that it was taken from the rooftop helipad of the local hospital as I was briefly assigned to do security work for the hospital. Therefore, almost nobody else has access to taki...

The Coachella valley used to be my stomping grounds, I lived there until I moved to San Diego in 2000. The desert is an unbelievably wonderful place to be with lots to do and 350 days of sunshine! Summers of course get hot but if you can get out of town f... 

The barely bearable summer heat is truly the only detriment to the desert environment. You obviously have to have good air conditioning and not be obligated to work in the heat. Otherwise, the landscape is as gorgeously picturesque as it gets. Certainly f...
