14 is my first iPhone. Used a Samsung until last year (happy I switched).
Any recommendations for an Apple iPhone macro lens?
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Is the photo quality ok? Thanks in advance. M4
Can’t recommend a lens, but I have found that the non-pro iPhones are better at macro than the pro versions.
Two cameras are better than three when it comes to macro.
I use a 15 Pro.
Works extremely well (for photography nobodies like me), you just have to learn how to use it to your advantage. Took me about a couple weeks of very low effort practice to get photos that were actually worth posting, so very happy with that.
Forgot to mention (but Yacomino did)...
use PRO Raw mode. Nothing else. If you don't the camera/photos app will smooth things over and use an algorithm to try to enhance your photo without consuming insane data. Once I switched to PRO Raw and did a couple other things in settings, my photos beg...
You may want to try sending MJ23 a pm. I’m not sure what loupe system he uses but he’s done some great macro work with the iphone..
For samples, do a search on the Independents section. Type mj23 on the search field and click on images. Hope this helps.
Moment lens is good
But you need its own proprietary case as with all other decent 3rd party macro lens. However biggest thing is unless you shoot macro photos outside in bright sunlight, you need a lot more set up - tripod to lower shutter speed to get more light, artificia...
