I decided to go for the Fuji system. Nowadays I shoot BW with my Fuji X-Pro2 using it’s Acros simulation. I never looked back!

I don't normally think B&W when I shoot and it's only during post-production the decision to convert is made. Nor do I own a dedicated monochrome camera. Maybe that has to change? Thanks for looking. fernando ...  

As a B&W portrait photographer for a long time, I found digital a bit of an issue because I always shot in color and converted to black and white....

which is sort of a luxury. BUT then you have the problem of what do I like better of each picture the color version or the black and white. Back in the film days that was never a problem. You shot black and white and your only decisions from that point on...

It's not an easy decision with digital as there are so many options.

I think some digital [color] cameras have the ability to chimp in b&w... at least that gives you a first impression via in-camera processing. My issue with shooting digital and converting is my skill in front of the computer, and I don't want to restart t... 

I'm a sucker for marketing. :)

as for its B&W output, the few B&W photos that I've shared here so far were direct from the camera and unedited. i'm still in the process of acquiring the taste for B&W and honestly, wouldn't know how to judge
