Another Gay Freres bracelet for my Patek 3417...
The earlier GF bracelet I had was wider and more sporty, which I think suits better for Patek 565. So I ask my good friend if he wants a swap. He happens to love my wide GF bracelet and we do a swap. My old GF bracelet looks great on his watch 
. His GF bracelet is slimmer and I think it matches the elegance of the 3417 better. What do you think ?

The bracelets sure do not have the savviness of contemporary bracelets but it has the quirky aesthetics of the past, which make them correct. It feels nice wearing them, knowing they are from the same era
E168 has more of a 'tool watch' feel...
as it seems to be 'bulkier' even though it is also 35mm. It is a great piece. Do you know what makes E168 a 'Chronometre'? Does this wording has specific proven definition or it is just a wording? Thanks.

I have a small UN Calatrava on a vintage bracelet. It is a great look. I buy some modern vintage inspired bracelets from Private Eyes, but it's not the same as true vintage.
Good thing about Vintage inspired bracelet is..
they are usually sturdier and you need not inspect too thoroughly .
