Patek 570 raised enamel lettering and Swiss hallmark...
Does anyone here know anything about raised enamel lettering and Swiss Hallmark of Patek 570?
I have seen pieces with raised enamel lettering and some without. Which are more common and why are there a difference?
I have seen pieces in the 50s and also from 1969 that have raised enamel lettering.
Also, we all know that Swiss Hallmark starts from 1970 but I have also seen pieces that have the Swiss Hallmark in the early to mid 60s. What does that mean?
To be even more confusing, One of the early 60s piece even have raised enamel lettering and Swiss hallmark, while the other one only has printed lettering with Swiss Hallmark.
Why so many variations?
If you know something about this , let me know. I'm very interested to educate myself
