Patek Philippe

Hi guys My dealer is offering to give this 5711 a very light polish before sending out to me. Would you recommend it? Or should it not be touched by anobody other than patek? thanks for advice ...  

I'd give it to PP. As for a AP RO, if you give it to every body else than PP, the polish may attack the angles of the bezel, and " hurt " its beauty . Best, and Welcome here, BTW, Ashil! Nicolas

and may i ask... similarly to AP, can you only get a polish when sending it in for a service? Or can you purchase an overhaul? thanks Ashil

Don't see why you can't get a Polish only. Ask to your AD, my friend. There are no reasons you can't only get a POlish. Best. Nicolas

I think AP and Rolex do not want to polish your watch if you don't let them service the whole watch (movement) I think you can ask them service your watch WITHOUT polishing it but I think only polishing is not allowed.

If so are you getting at least 25% off?
