and it depends on who they have doing the polishing. I good dealer will introduce you to their in-house person who does polishing and you can get a feel for whether they know what they're doing. I know of one AD with a former long-time Patek employee.. He knows the watches and how to handle them as well as anyone at the factory.. So why wait 2 mos and get the same job? I'd talk to your dealer

polish this 5711 or leave as is??

I'd give it to PP. As for a AP RO, if you give it to every body else than PP, the polish may attack the angles of the bezel, and " hurt " its beauty . Best, and Welcome here, BTW, Ashil! Nicolas

Don't see why you can't get a Polish only. Ask to your AD, my friend. There are no reasons you can't only get a POlish. Best. Nicolas

I think AP and Rolex do not want to polish your watch if you don't let them service the whole watch (movement) I think you can ask them service your watch WITHOUT polishing it but I think only polishing is not allowed.
