Patek Philippe

Your watch is complicated calendar piece, and yes, its highly advisable...

to read the manuals first. There are even more complicated watches outside costing several times the money of your new Patek, and still the owner can break them easily just by setting the time at the 'wrong time'.

That's an inherent part of almost every complicated watch out there, regardless of manufacturer.

I myself have seen broken Grande Complication watches, costing about 1mio CHF, due to movement rust caused by water influx. The owner went diving with it because he had not read in the manual that his precious is has no water tightness whatsoever...

Cheers (and I hope your case will come out well),
Magnus
