Yes, indeed. For a Rolex, I don't have this problem. For a brand like Patek, it bugs me a bit to see the same movement in a simple Calatrava than in a Celestial 5102. [nt]

I used to have a 5712/A as well...
But felt like overkill as 5980/1A was always winning the wristbattle...
It’s a nice watch...
...but doesn’t merit the hype. The subdial and date implementation are both inelegant. As an investment I’d be very happy if I bought one five years ago. Buying one today might be risky...but if you love it?

What a great shot, my friend !! I had the 5980 some years ago - and like everybody, I deeply regret selling it - but today it is very hard to decide for me, which Nautilus is the real King !!!! 5990 is still my favorite, but very close behind the 5980 ! O...
I also wish I still had my 5980.
But I now have the 5990 and much prefer it. Having both would have been perfect though.
This is the true king or perhaps emperor! Only positive remarks from me.

I also fell in love with the 5960P when it was launched, but way out of my reach then

celestial would fit well in your box
don't think the movement should be the breaking factor... 240 is a solid workhorse... even though I do think a watch like the celestial perhaps would be better suited with a pretty manual movement...
