But in my opinion, the bracelet is so much a part of the nautilus that Iād have to stick with the regular 5711.

Both great pieces, but the 5711r is one of my grails. I would choose it over the 5712 every day and twice on Sunday.š

5711 for me
The dial of the 5712 is a tad too cluttered, the way the complications are located doesn't feel right.

For me here I would pick the bracelet with the simpler dial. Very personal choice, I am just not sure about the dial layout of the complication oneā¦

Needs Leather
The 5712 would look more formidable on the Alligator strap. The composite doesn't work IMO as one would undoubtedly have other watches to wear if water was a question.

As other said the bracelet is an important part of the design and the simple dial is a more beautiful and powerful design. For me, the Nautilus is about an unusual sculptural design. Quirky evenā¦. not about complications
Tough to choose here Bill. Since you already have several Nautilus models, maybe the 5712R but if it was only 1 Nautilus, then the 5711 on bracelet for sure....
