Love an opinion stated strongly and supported with horological and other experience. You make me want to order both a PT and RG 5960 tomorrow, though not sure I agree with your thought that the 5960 will be such an icon of this era. But I do agree now is a good buying opportunity (perhaps for 5960 and other potential Patek icons, such as 5070.......).
Now perhaps the most important question of all--you swim with these watches--tourbillon, chrono, leather straps, and all???
