it is a stunning watch... very nicely proportioned and the dial is well-balanced without being over-cluttered. I would be pleased to own one! MW

You know what I think. Hutchman should weigh in. He owns both the 5970P and the 5270G.

But if I could only keep one it would definately be the 5270G and I'm dreaming about the announcement of a 5270P this year!

I do love the watch. I'm one of the few along with a couple gentleman in here who prefer it to the 5970. Future value and collectibility are very important especially when at this level of watch collecting (176.3k retail is not chump change ;) They can be... 

More balanced (IMHO the 5270 has too much 'activity' in the lower half of the dial), more classic, better sized for the future (whether large or small dials are en vogue in the future, the 5970 will fit the bill at 39/40mm), last of the great modified lem...
