Why does the Cal. 215 have no stop second?
Hi Dje,
some time ago, I was about to get a plain Calatrava with the caliber 215 PS.
As much as I liked the classical case and dial (and the marvellous video "To my Son"), I could not convince myself to buy a watch, which is not really cheap, and does not even have the stop second function to set time accurately.
I asked my AD whether he might inquire the Patek people about this, but he said, there was no chance they would listen to him!
Probably they will listen to you?

the CH27-70 Lemania-based caliber is the best chronograph caliber after modification by Patek. What else do we need? Do we need to replace the ref 2499 or ref1518? Larry
