Welcome 5230P

Dear collector friends,

I did it! After considering your advice, I went ahead with the trade, and I couldn’t be happier. I fell in love with the 5230P and felt it was the right choice to part with a few watches that I wasn’t using as much. Whether this turns out to be a good decision in the long run remains to be seen, but so far, I’m really enjoying it.

The watches I traded were:
1. Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle (white gold): Aesthetically, I loved this one, but the small crown made winding difficult and a bit frustrating.
2. Lange Saxonia (rose gold): A beautiful piece, but it always felt a little too dressy and small for me.
3. Lange 1 (white gold): This one will be the hardest to let go. It’s an incredible watch, but I’ve always dreamed of owning the platinum version. Trading it feels like a second chance to chase that dream.

An interesting note about these watches: I bought them at fantastic prices back in 2017 at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. At the time, there was a dealer there who was relocating and downsizing, which created an amazing opportunity.

Thank you again for all your input—it truly helped me make this decision!
