... but for a collector i think they are more dangerous than safe. Unless you use them on a regular basis of course. We burry some pieces, and we forget about them. Even worse than having them in a box and not wearing them. :)... Forget is like not owning...

Welcome Thurmond. :) Like many others have said, thanks for lurking no more. I too look forward to seeing some photos, especially of your 1526. Now, please remind me again, what the difference is between the 3940 & 3941?

The original 3940 had a solid case back. And a variant of the original 3940, called the 3941, came with a sapphire crystal case back. This only lasted a couple of years before Patek sold the 3940 with both types of case backs due to the popularity of the ...
