Pheew, glad you didn't sell the rest of your collection, including the 5088P! ;-)) (Not that I ever heard of someone who owns a 5212 as a first Patek, at least at MSRP! :-) And that strap is indeed a real beauty, lively yet elegant. Enjoy ;-)

No doubt about it, I think this would be a terrific entry (for any collection, in fact)...alas, the issue is with availability, as this is a Calatrava which is extremely unlikely to be allocated to a first time customer ;-) Cheers.

I can’t speak for other regions, but it’s not currently available as far as I know, locally. H.

I believe distribution has been quite limited in all markets, and the demand expectedly remains high, though obviously not in the territory of SS models of the Nautilus or Aquanaut lines. (The secondary market also still looks fairly strong for the 5212.)
