Very different design aesthetics

I think of the 5127 as representing a minimalist approach to design, softened by the sensuous curve of the crown guards. I find it very appealing. In contrast, the 5053, with a fancy font, Brequet hands, and slim, straight lugs, is a watch I wouldn't even consider, as none of these elements attracts me in the least., though I see the advantage of having some conrast between the hands and the dial.

Which aesthetic do you prefer?

Very helpfully, you should pick the one you prefer. Baroque or Bauhaus (okay, not quite exactly, but you get the picture)? When do you want to use it? I had the choice between the two (plus others) and chose the 5053 because I quite like the Breguet numer...
