Patek Philippe

Tough choice

First, welcome to our Patek forum Tourbeon.

I'm a 5712 owner and a Nautilus fan.

I indeed asked myself the same question as my second choice was the 5726/1A black dial (the white one was not available yet).

The 5726 is a fantastic looking version (I like the dial balance and symmetrical registers for the date).

What made me choose the 5712 was the thinness as it is an element I appreciate a lot for this watch. If I had wanted to get a sportier one I would have chosen the 5726.

The 240 is of course very nice (and is the reason why it is thin as well). But the 324 is really nice too in terms of design and finishing. The micro rotor is just rarer and allows to have a better look to the movement (versus normal rotor).

The Annnual Calendar is more interesting too.

So, the decision would be, for me, thinner (a little more refined and elegant) or thicker (sportier with more presence).

As for the color, I like the black a lot but, as an owner of the blue dial, maybe I would pick the white one I like very much.

Keep us informed!

Cheers, Mark
