Tough call
I thought long and hard about the 5146G and the 5712G and ended up with the 5712G for a number of reasons. The Nautilus is iconic, the 5146G has a more generic shape and dial layout. The Nautilus has a fantastic 3/4 rotor movement, the 5146 a "standard" full rotor movement. The 5712G can be worn with anything - it makes no difference. The 5146G is a little more formal. And finally I already have two perpetuals an JLC and a GO Karree so feel the 5146 was too close to what I already had. Both are great watches of the highest quality - it really comes down to having a very clear understanding of how you're going to use it and what else you have in your collection to complement it.

Wait... Yes! I would. If I only wore the watch upside down with the movement showing instead of the dial. Because I really like the 240 caliber movement on the 5712. Too bad the bracelet on the 5712 does not make this possible. No, I would not ever trade ...
