To be honest, I agree with you
I miss the old boxes as well. Thankfully I have a bunch still lying around the house I can take a look at whenever I fancy. ;-)
While I don't mind the new boxes, I just don't like that they are so big. This is why the 5450 box was a bit more appealing; at least its size reminded me of the old boxes.

Somehow I prefer the older red leather Patek box, in my mind that's always the classic Patek packaging, even though these wood veneer boxes may be more impressive. - SJX
