Patek Philippe

This reference is slowly growing in me but...

I have to admit I am still wondering which version would be the right choice :
-  P : I usually love Platinum cases and for 5960 P I specially like the blue and black dial versions but... it is quite heavy and because of the height of the case, I am not sure if it is so comfortable to wear ; I am afraid it is twisting around the wrist ; I actually had the same problem with the fantastic ALS Datograph and finally decided to let it go in spite of my love for it for it was not comfortable on my wrist. Finally the premium for getting the blue or black dial version vs the grey one is quite stiff... Love ok, but love at any price sorry I cannot afford...
-  A : could be a good option for the light weight, the younger look, and the light price + now a second iteration with the black dial for the ones who do not like the white dial one. In other words it ticks almost all the boxes but... this bracelet is a "no go" for me, and I am not convinced that putting a strap on this A version is the right solution as the case is purposely not designed for fitting a strap on it.
-  R : I have to see it in the metal for making a final opinion and it would be a way for checking again the weight issue on the wrist... Obviously I don't want to comment too much on a version I still have to see (very soon) but my perception a priori is as follows : I believe I would be confused when and how to wear this R version : is it a formal watch for the office ? I don't think so ; is it a dressy watch for wearing with a tuxedo ? neither ; and unformal with a pair of jeans ? also not... So my perception is that it is a wonderful looking watch but would probably get very limited wrist time...
-  G : the last iteration of the family... I saw it at Baselworld and was impressed by its beauty ; probably a quite versatile option : a very nice blue dial same nice blue color as the decried Pilot's dial, and the killing detail of the nice pushers (reminder of ref 1463). I have to recheck but I believe the perception of weight is quite ok, sensibly less than with the P version. In other words this one could be the winner but... paying the same price for a new G as for a 2nd hand P in very good condition is frustrating...
OMG! it's really hard to decide...
To cut the long story short I believe each version has pros and cons, but I need some more time to think it over...
My 2 cents... wink
