This is a tricky question
Patek is producing maximum 20% of their output in steel. My understanding is that they prefer to place the complications mostly to watches made of "noble" material. The problem is that PP can't make everything to everybody and many additional complicated watches in steel and rubber strap might be out from their focus group. It's a bit like hoping a Bentley in VW Golf class.

someone who has the same question I have always had with Patek. There lower end watches are too small for the big guys. 42m would be almost perfect especially on the Aquanaut.
