Now that I got this bracelet version, I have the tendency to reach for this piece more often…not sure why? I know this bracelet design is not everyone’s favorite but it is very comfortable and scratches don’t show up so I can wear it with little concerns ...

Yes, I am indeed lucky so far..no complaints. 2 more complication/watches and that's my peak journey.
1 perpertual calendar and 1 perpetual calendar chronograph (grail/dream) and my desires will be fully satisfied.

I've met a few 5960P models with some small problems. Mostly problems with the annual calendar. Date not changing properly at the end of the month is common. But a great looking watch. A bigger, thicker, sportier watch. Looks good with a Brunello Cucinell...

Maybe. All Patek Philippe annual calendars aren't very reliable. Perpetual Calendars are usually better - ironically.
Annual calendars are actually more complex than perpetual calendars sometimes. Depending on the brand. The chronograph is reliable. And it's a vertical clutch system. So that means it's got a disadvantage; vertical clutches are thicker than horizontal clu...

Wonder if the bracelet on the SS version will fit in the P as well? Summers can be brutal on straps so I prefer bracelets when wearing my summer watches…😉
