Fellow Purists, I have the possibility of acquiring a 5296G with sector dial from a trusted dealer. The price is CHF 16,600 / USD 16,684 and I can obviously look at the watch before I pick it up as I don’t live far away. The dealer had sourced the watch f...
Because it came from Moscou it dosnt mean its a bad or wrong watch , you can be scammed all over the world so try it and do some Research and if you are happy then buy it i would say . Its a beautiful watch
I have myself bought numerous watches from Moscow dealers, as have some others here. Never a scam so far. But, in the end, it comes down to whether you trust your AD? Because he/she is the one who is selling it to you.

... but I think you're wrong. It's a beautiful watch. I will agree with you on your second point, however. I would NOT buy from an unauthorized dealer.
Choices, and questions for choices, should always be made according to the heart and emotions, and according to the facts that are relevant for the person who has to make the choice. To chose between two options, two watches, is a highly subjective matter...
Also, one authorized Patek dealer here in Zurich managed to completely scratch the bezel of my 5711 when performing routine water resistance and timekeeping testing. I say one one thing only. When in Zurich and in search for a Patek Philippe, please do pa...
solid relationship with a trusted dealer is very important. Perhaps you could ask your dealer that the watch be inspected at a Patek service center (or at least at a nearby authorized dealer) to confirm its authenticity?
