It is here, perhaps, that may need some explanation from you....

When a member posts a watch that he is considering paying a lot of money for and asks for opinion, then, for many people, having another member describe that watch as looking like a Swatch might appear somewhat rude. Then, perhaps, telling that member to go to read one of your lessons might appear somewhat condescending. Hence, quite easy to misinterpret your intention.
I am absolutely sure that you do not mean any ill-intent and that your comedic reference to your wisdom and teachings are indeed purely comedy. Likewise, describing a Patek Philippe watch that a member is considering paying a lot of money for as looking like a Swatch may not seem to you to be rude or cavalier, but it does appear to have been interpreted as such by several.
Having now read through a number of your recent comments, I can see quite clearly that you are being misunderstood by many. That is not a good trait for a teacher. I suggest it might be wise to listen to the advice from Nicolas here and spend a little bit more time elaborating so that people do not misunderstand your intent.
I endorse Miranda's comments completely too. He has the right to determine what is acceptable or not since he is the Moderator of the Patek Philippe forum, and if he feels that your comments are crossing a line, then he can and should act. That is, perhaps, why elaboration rather than innuendo may be a good choice for you.
Hope you take the advice in the good spirit with which it was intended.
