The new ref. 5204G-010
If I'm not mistaken, this is the second white gold variant of the Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Split Seconds Chronograph ref. 5204.
The previous one was olive green (see below), the new one features a sunburst navy blue dial with red chronograph hands and stitching on the blue composite strap with fabric pattern.
Does this very sporty look appeal to you?
The case measures 40 x 14.4 x 46.9 mm.

Not bad...
but a little too sporty for me. Good to see that the little chin is gone in this version. My favourite is the black dial, 5204P-011, one of my grail.

A very impressive watch indeed. That said, in my opinion fabric straps tend to suit sportier watches better, even if straps are easily changed. I also feel that Patek may be leaning a bit too heavily on them across the current collection.
I completely agree with you.
But they're trying to speak to a younger clientele which is looking for a more sporty and "agressive" look. Reason why I personally prefer the classic releases: the new 5396 or the olive Ellipse. Best, Emmanuel
