Congratulations on your 3970, I'm picking on up myself very soon, it's currently being serviced. The 5004 is something I'm working towards as well and hope to own one sooner than later as I believe that as soon as a wider audience discovers how exceptiona... 

I habe mever seen before, looks strange to me. The third includes the later update fixating the Octopus wheel (you will notice the new bridge making the Octopus more stable). This is how a later or serviced 5004 will look like today

made me curious. Just checked my archive - indeed, when they first showed the piece, the movement looked like in the first image (around 1996).
