The diameter alone has little bearing on the size of the watch
The lugs are important and also the dial and the size of the bezel. You have noticed that the 5035 seems small and that is because it has a busier dial than say the 5296 which is a 3 handed watch. There is no right size or wrong size for a dress watch because a 35mm watch like the 5120 for example will not appear small as it is two handed watch and a white dial. In fact it would probably wear larger than your 5035 or 5110.
