The 5712 is a gorgeous piece, you wear it very well!
I almost bought a 5712G some years ago. I‘d have pulled the trigger if they’d made a blue dial version. I love the dial, the complication and above all the elegant, slim case proportions of the 5712. Luckily I find all this again in the 5740 as well, with the perpetual calendar as a major bonus.

What's also striking is how each picture describes the dial very differently, depending on the angle....The first one could as well be that of a future 5740/1R version! ;-)) Thanks again for sharing this beauty and your detailed thoughts about it ;-)

I almost bought a 5712G back in about 2010, when such things were entirely possible.
The 5712G is definitely another favorite of mine
Sometimes I'm not sure if I prefer it over the 1A.
I loved the case and strap of the G but the blue dial of the 1A.
So ended up buying neither at that time. Now, the 5740 is the perfect match for me. Have a great Sunday!
