So while I'm not necessarily looking for a diamond encrusted watch for the bling, I would consider one for the "practical" scratch resistance. The problem I have is that I don't usually find diamond encrusted watches very attractive.

Diamonds are placed into the case, a strong impact might pull them off.

Yes, and be careful for the movement. There is no route to be un careful with a mechanical. PP or a Casio G-Shock differs. But choosing between both, i chose the world timer.
