After the 5960A white and black, the 5960P with the ruthenium and the blue dial and the 5960G and its blue dial, I had the opportunity to see the 5960R in this dial configuration. I still have to find a black dialed 5960R, black dialed 5960P, and Kek's Le...  

Great dial in a classic rose gold case that is only a tad big, but it suits this noble and spectacular watch.

Still, RG is far too classic to resist.

Definitely my favorite variation on that reference. I have always liked the 5960, but I could actually see myself buying the watch in that configuration. Very nice Thanks for sharing.

I have been very close to adding one of these but never crossed the finishing line.... but the R in this version or with the black dial (and very importantly black date) are superb!

.... this is the best variation, BY FAR, of this reference. I passed on it because I was in pursuit of another piece ... and I've always considered it a mistake. The dial of this "R" version is truly beautiful! Enjoy!

Being a white-metal guy, I believe I could give a try to one of these! Looking forward to your future post. Several Purists here have a WT collection, but a 5960 full set could be a nice target as well. 😉
