Patek has no idea what's been sold on the gray market. When someone with a rare piece want to sell it or trade, they go to the gray market. Only rarely do they go to auction. Patek has no idea the high end piece has been sold so they have no reason to "bl...

IMO there are 2 types of Patek owners. First are the practical people - I include myself to this group- who are impressed by Patek and use them in their daily lives. They have few Pateks for various occasions and wear them regularly. Their Pateks show sig... 

Watches are meant to be worn and enjoyed.... I do understand though why some people choose to buy Patek watches as an investment..... However their transaction is purely a monetary one and not horological.... It is like having a great painting and storing...
