I'm not looking for prestige, and both brands are clearly unknown where I leave.
Even my Explorer 1 is not so often recognized as a Rolex, it has no rotating bezel (where I leave people sail or dive with a Submariner).
I'm looking for a refined mechanics in a refined case with integrated bracelet. A watch thin and somewhat discreet.
I think that both watches fit that description. The Nautilus is better for the dial beauty and the water resistance. The RO has a more appealing mechanics.
Both watches are worth owning them.
I'd like to get both in fact!

i have always prefered the Oak over Nautilus.
you may argue that the Nautilus is more refined etc etc, but refinement on a sports watch is less important then sports chic!! the only advantage the Naut has over the Oak is simply it can be hidden under a shirt cuff, other then that, IMHO the Oak trumps...

I am lucky to have owned both model and I like them both. The different is the higher water water resistance on the 5711 make me choose to wear the nautilus if go for some outdoor activities. Get both!
