Which one would you choose. 5146g or 5205g. Pls share you opinion Thanks....  

then 5140... But out from those two, I would rather take 5205. However, 5146 is a nice basic Annual Calendar and that is around 4k cheaper than 5205. Best, Kari

...its just a better all-rounder (from suit to jeans and tees) where the 5205 works best with a suit. personally i'd go for the slate dial on brown strap which i think is the ultimate combo. good luck whatever you choose. Alan.

I purchased th 5146g when it first was released. I absolutely love this watch. I was in fact wearing this watch today. I was admiring it after lunch as the sun finally came out here and the slate dial is stunning. But I also really love the raised numeral...  

I find the slate wg version interesting as it hides all the information a bit, leaves all very discrete in the background. That is also slightly the same with the 5205, but here due to the reflectice saphire and the radiant dial the additional hands are n... 

Hi, I love both designs but for a moderate wrist like mine I would pick a slate dial 5146G! I associate Patek Philippe with moderately thick watches. If it had not gone so far in price I would have picked it with pleasure, even instead of the 5711/1A Best...

is my choice. I feel that the watch looks smaller than 40 mm, making it suitable for suit and business casual. For me, I would not wear 5146 or 5205 with casual wear. Also the concave bezel makes it less likely to get scratched. The only issue I have with...

They're such different watches. I've had a look at both, plus the 5396. The 5146 is traditional classic Patek IMO. I agree it does seem to go with casual wear, but it's certainly a dressy watch as there is a lot going on on the dial. The 5205 couldn't rea...

as I just like the dial display. I have other watches with window display, this classic dial display is just right, not too busy, you can still read it clearly even with my aging eyes. Also, the 39mm size is just perfect for my wrist. I have mine in grey ...

The grey version is much more legible than the black one, so also here "the right choice" made. Having said that, the black one is great if you like a stealth look of a watch, but still under dark condition difficult to read. What I like about the 5205 in...
