Thanks my friend, your typically interesting and informative post on my most favorite watches (within my most favorite brand), so I could have hardly asked for more! :-)

I also have a 5131P, as you know, so glad to know Ms. Porchet and her team were directly involved in the production.
You're also implying that she was *not* involved in the realization of the 5131J and R, if I understand correctly? That'd be surprising but vert interesting to learn -- I had no specific information on any of this before!
Even though the 5131 series and then the 5231 are unarguably great artwork, at least on a psychological level, I did not consider them at the VERY top (like, for instance, your Rousseau or my Boccadasse, etc.), though obviously close to the top. Your info now that Ms. Porchet was directly involved does frankly add a big plus.
And now let's hope Italy will again get some rare handcrafts in 2020, and that I can be one of the fortunate recipients!
As you well know my friend, this is an addiction that it's impossible to cure when we get caught!
Cheers.
