Hi, I have a EMTO wooden winding box that came with my 5140 and last weekend when I went to remove the watch from the winder, I discovered that the U shaped arm that secures the cuff to the winder had become loose from the spindle and was no longer rotati... 

I have several version of these winding boxes. It is more useful to put a picture or pictures showing the exact problem. The solution may be easier than you may think. Cheers. Jim

This is a picture of the U shaped arm that came loose. It came loose right where it goes into the hole of the winding box....  

This shows the pictures of the cuff....  

The unit looks new and the U piece could very well snap into the hole. Try doing this at different rotations as it may snap in only at a specific angle. Worst come to worst you can send it to Patek for a repair and/or exchange. I have done this before, an... 

Thanks for your suggestion; I decided to return it for a new replacement, but if it happens again I will probably try your suggestion first.
