Thanks for your explanation. The late 90s pieces are completely different level indeed. I didnt knew much about recent improvements though.

There is no improvement. Its the deviation which carries on their back for some time. Some batches are good, some are bad.

Also the finishing has to be exposed under a lens. Loupes don’t show much detail. You want great excellent finishing? Take a look at those of $400,000 upwards, like 5078, 5531, 5372 and so on.
