The nautilus is just too thin for my taste.. The grey on the 5270 was very nice but the 2 portholes become too jarring ...

I hadn’t really thought about the portholes before because they’re small enough, but I see exactly what you’re saying especially when comparing to the 5970 as Nico said.

They're not positive, but at least it gives an idea of how these pieces can feel in person. Best, Emmanuel

Personally, I would be very happy with the 5270 and I much prefer it over a Nautilus on a strap. At least there are two holes so that the dial is balanced. I think perpetual dials look worse where there is just one hole for the leap year indicator, like o... 

Ohter than the thinness of the 5810G, how did you like the look of the strap on this watch ? Did you get a chance to try the other 50th Nautiliuses ?

Gives it a more casual but still classy look.. Unfortunately, that’s the only nautilus I managed to try

The 50th anniversary nautilus is going to be one of the most coveted versions of this line in recent history. I cannot wait to see it in person. However, I’m super interested in seeing the grey dials on the 5270 and 5236. Thank you for sharing these pics....
