Thanks Mark. It was my first post and i appreciate the feedback. It does seem unusual to have two of the same ref have the same issue, but I don't know how many have been produced. The thing that disappointed me most was the length of time it seems to take to service/fix the watch - seems very excessive to me if genuine - do you have any insight as to how long a standard service at PP takes? The AD I spoke to didn't offer any discount on the watch but said he would pay for the first service. This sounded ok to me - what do you think? Many thanks

As can be seen from observing the seconds hand, the movement will sporadically start/stop, even when fully wound and being worn on the wrist. This happens a few times a week, and the result is quite predictable: losing a lot of time! Watch was serviced by...

I have the same problem with my 5164 as well....and my date also doesn't change. In April, it would have been at the service center 18 months. Some regular updates from them that I appreciate, but I'm still patiently waiting. Still, it didn't stop me from...
