A stunner she is, I’ve been hunting one for a couple of years now, I was puzzled between this and the platinum version, but in the and the blue/gray dial won.

I’ve been hunting this 5100G for a while now and finally our paths crossed. I’m happy to own this commemorative piece, a milestone in Patek’s history, and a movement to die for. ...

Merci!

A couple of years ago I parted with my Saltarello to acquire this piece but sadly to late, the watch sold, and now the same collector traded the watch back so I jumped on it! In the steel sports craze, luckily this pieces are becoming available at ridicul...

I was lucky enough to see this one in the metal few years back and try it on the wrist during a lunch with friends. Certainly one of the most charming ref from the PP semi vintage catalogue, it has an incredible presence on the wrist and the movement is t...

Thank you Mike!

Both G and P are crazy nice

 By: Mike H : October 22nd, 2020-03:34
Maybe the P is a bit more formal and this G more versatile. I am totally with you on this blue gray dial. Lucky you !

Truly exceptional piece, fantastic case, a memory to a long gone time.

Thank you very much for sharing, Sir.

A very special and not often seen piece.

One of the Pateks I really like and sometime in the future hopefully will own. Not in the focus because of steel sport watches and Nautilus mania and therefore heavily underrated. Love it! Many congrats! Thomas

Thank you Thomas, a definite different piece and a milestone in the Patek history.

Wish you get one as well, you won’t regret it!

Ooooh, I love that watch

 By: blau : October 22nd, 2020-04:42
I've never seen one in person, and worry that I'd end up thinking it wore too big. On the other hand, I don't mind the size of my 8-day Reverso Grande (which I *somewhat* regard as a consolation prize for not owning a 5100). By any chance have you worn an...

Congratulations of getting your favorite Patek in your hands. It must be very satisfying. About the steel sport models, i confess i like that watches very. Dress watches and special editions. I am loving the Gerald Genta AP RO design many other brands too...

Thank you for the kind words!

Hope you get your lovely GP and VC soooon ))

A little insight of my list

 By: Weems@8 : October 22nd, 2020-08:20
Whats on my list? Omega Planet Ocean. It’s open which one. The GP Laureato i told already. Breguet Marine 2019 and older. A Baume and Mercier with a baumatic movement. Omega Globemaster, flutted basel, annual calendar. Longines Conquest. Not yet decide, b...

The surprice

I like the surprise. The surprise a watch can be. All automatics i bought are satisfying. My Omega seamaster diver 300 is the watch which surprise me the most. I thought before, ‘i am not a man who can wear a dive watch.’ I was wrong, it is my kind of wat...

Well done 👍! You have great...

hunting skills !! This 5100G is a meaningful reference for Patek’s history. Do let us know how it feels to wind it up.

Hehe! I was hiding deep in the bushes🤣

 By: ZSHSZ : October 22nd, 2020-06:57
Oh, it has a nice smooth creamy feel and you can enjoy it for at least two minutes. Thank you!

I remember your old post dreaming about this!

 By: Centurionone : October 22nd, 2020-11:13
Who says dreams don’t come true! Enjoy this exquisite piece !

Yes, that's true, as you know I'm not necessarily a dress watch guy, but the special movement and the restrained balanced dial, made it a “want” instantly.

 By: ZSHSZ : October 22nd, 2020-15:49
It took a couple of years to find the right one, Also debated between the G and P, but the G won because of the sunburst dial is easier to read. The P might be next;-))) Thank you for the kind words!🥂

Congratulations 👍 [nt]

If my wrist were larger, I would get one too. A real beauty -- enjoy.

I have a small wrist myself, but the curved case fits like a glove!

 By: ZSHSZ : October 22nd, 2020-15:54
If that’s the only problem you can start searching for one I’m sure it will fit!😜 Thank you for the kind wishes!
