Happy new year to all! An interesting observation to share : how the different perpetual models operate past midnight. Leap year indicator seems to take the longest to adjust. 5236 : first to change all indicators including leap year within 15 min past mi...  

Thanks for the interesting analysis. I know that an instantaneous calendar change at midnight is the horological ideal, but personally if it takes a few minutes that’s fine by me, not least because I am usually asleep by midnight! Happy new year to you to...

The 5236 really has been catching my eye recently. As for instantaneous jump - that is the ideal but uncommon. At this hour I know Lange 1 PC has it and for, I’m sure many more.

Am still ding donging between the salmon and blue 5236P……

I acquired the blue piece before salmon was available. Having seen both, I think I prefer the blue simply because of personal preference. Or ownership bias. 😂

Had the chance to wear both side by side and was struggling between both. Love the blue but somehow legibility seemingly not as high compared to the salmon, depending on angle. Still lurking around for a Plat PC and very limited choice.

I still can’t figure if it is because of the movements, or because how the individual pieces were made.

I really like the instantaneous jump and the sound of it, but unfortunately not the norm on complicated watches. Love the "click" of newer Rolex models, although I missed it on my Day-Date last night with the excitement of the celebration 🤤 Happy New Year... 

What’s the “click” about? When the date transition from 31st to 1st? That sounds awesome ..

Same with my Lange1.

The instantaneous perpetual calendar complication is part of the 5207, 5208, and 5308 minute repeaters. Any of them would fit very nicely with your amazing collection 😀. Personally, if given the chance the 5207 would be my pick out of the three because I ...

Love your 5204! Thanks for sharing. The 5204/5270 use the same QP module, so they total changeover time should be the same, even if one starts changing before the other.

According to Revolution Watch, PP was the very first to create a PC wristwatch in 1925 .. exactly 100 years ago as you wrote!

Somehow I feel that it doesn’t shout out too much under the shirt sleeve in office and business setting.

I thought Salmon dial makes the 5270 more noticeable.
