Thanks for the information. That is very helpful. I have been searching for the 5167 with the tropical strap with no success. I was tempted to get the 5167 with the bracelet then switch it out. However, I finally found the one I wanted. Fortunately, I only have to travel all the way across the US (practically) to pick it up from the AD….but it's worth it.

Yes, you can change from bracelet to rubber strap and vice versa. The rubber strap is reasonably priced by Patek standards but the folding clasp is not. But if you have both bracelet and rubber, you will have like two different watches. Best, Kari

If you have a 5167/1a (steel bracelet), you can buy a rubber band with buckle for interchange. However, if you buy a 5167a (rubberband), you CANNOT buy a steel bracelet in general. Cheers
