some thoughts
For me and not only from my collector's perspective, but from being a perfectionist, I like the “package” to be complete and everything should match.
I also don’t like to have un necessary work on my watch.
On Rolex for example, where a WHT or BLK Daytona is an easy swap, I still like my watch to have the same color as it left the factory, I guess I hate when they mess with my watches…
BUT, if Patek will issue an updated extract to be accompanied to the original certificate with the dial change description, for me it would be OK.
