Some more Salmon Patek Watches? 3940G Saatchi, a very rare maybe unique 3970P Salmon, and a 5004P Salmon.

Inspired by our friend Ryan 5446, here are two wonders I found on the net.

The first, the 3940G is from the Saatchi Gallery series. Credit picture: Michael Ashton.

You thought that the 3940G above was hard to beat? You are right, and wrong... Just look at this one, now, my absolute favorite in this dial combination, with these Breguet indices and hands! ( Credit picture: Christies ).

And as I like to make everyone's life harder... Here is a last one, a 5004P.

I will start to like Salmon...

Best,

Nicolas

Great pieces for sure. I think I prefer the blackened applied numerals to wg coloured ones but clearly brequet nicer than Arabic in this particular case. JMHO of course. Speaking of salmon dials is the 5270p starting to appear in the wild in the US or Eur...

Agree my friend! [nt]

Just a query: I was surprised to see the first pic as the 3940G salmon dial because it looks pretty similar to the 5140G, with the โ€œsquishโ€ Date numerals. So I was wondering if this is a transitional model going from 3940 to 5140 in 2006. If it is a yes, ...

As some of you know, I have and love my Saatchi salmon. I posted a comparison between it as a 3940 and a 5140, noting that it had features from both and, as such, is a hybrid. Will try to find that post. In the meantime, here is a pic again... ...

Thanks!
