Some golden moments with the 2509
In truth, i am not a yellow gold guy. Nor rose gold. I have one or two in my collection, but the majority is white metal - mainly steel. Having said that, th one or two yellow and rose gold watches in my collection really do add something different.
The 2509 in this shot is one I bought a year ago but only just received back from Patek service. In the sun. Out for dinner. Even just going for a walk..... this yellow gold wonder is growing on me more and more.
I thought i was a white metal guy, but maybe i need to broaden my horizons a little bit. I think coloured gold adds a more formal touch to a watch. And that is where my problem emerges....i am just not a formal type of guy. Having wore a suit for the first 15 years of my professional life, I make a particular point of not wearing a suit now. Yet, as i said in a previous post, the juxtaposition of a formal yellow gold watch worn with a pair of jeans can .... oddly.... work really well.
Anyway, this one certainly does for me. I am loving this 2509.

We have lived the same experience with YG :p
