Some early pictures
Hope you like them. It's difficult to describe the feeling I have putting this watch on. It's a wonderful piece of micro engineering and beautiful to behold. I feel lucky and very privileged to be about to indulge my hobby to this extent. But in some ways, spending over $100K on something that, at the end of the day still only tells you the time is a gross extravagance. I just returned from a business trip to New Delhi, and for those of you who have been there, you'll know exactly what I mean.
Arriving tomorrow

I know what you mean (I think...)
When I bought my 5970, the 100K factor really made itself strongly felt. In some ways it overwhelmed the experience of ownership. That's a very nice watch, you will decide if it is worth the expense. Then, if worth it, if you can relax while wearing it! (...
