Serious advice asked: Patek 5970R
Felow Patek owners and connaisseurs,
I am considering giving myself a major gift next year.... The watch that I am eyeballing is the PP5970R.
Would love to hear from the experts on the matter what they love so much about this watch, or what not. Any strong competitors at this price level? Would you think this is one of the "great classics" and ultimately, this is my main doubt, should i go for 5970 or chip in a relatively small amount of extra money and go for 3970??

Not sure about a 3970 costing you more BUT........
I would go for the 5970 for two reasons only......... Firstly the 5970 simply looks much better on my wrist and the square pushers just do it for me........The 3970 is too thick IMO... Secondly I believe the 5970 to be in fewer numnbers.....Before anyone ...

how ever it is a very personal choice. If you decide to go for the 3970 I think you would actually find yourself saving money not adding it.
