Saw this newly released 5905 in the wild and
had the pleasure of trying it on !
The owner had to wrestle it back from me 😅
The green dial is well executed and is a chameleon with various shades under different lighting: From almost black/dark grey to darker/lighter green.
The concave lugs are lovely and the bracelet wears comfortably. The case is rather thick due to the AR chrono functions.
Based on my (deteriorating) memory, the 5905 green is similar to the 5711 green but not the same.
Overall this 5905 version made a good impression on me even though it wears large on my wrist.

I wonder, if the 5905/1a wears larger due to the bracelet.
I‘ve tried on the 5905r in the past and it didn‘t wear too large. This new one looks very large on a lot of pictures i‘ve seen so far.
5905 is sizable at 42mm and is
thick because of the AR chrono functions. I have a small wrist and therefore it looks BIG for me. Yes, the bracelet is thicker than a strap, and hence it makes the watch look larger.

Haha it's actually the opposite …
Too big for my wrist … Only thing I can target is up to 37mm… But surprisingly (and I cannot explain) the nautilus do fit my wrist although they are 40 I think. Kev

Haha i am very interested in the 5712 but just realistically there is no chance I will ever get one so I have gave up some time ago haha The Geneva boutique was nice enough to let me try it on to see the fit on my wrist Kev ...

IMO the legibility is low because the main
focus is on the green dial 😂 No sure that this one should be classified as a “sports” watch. IMO this watch is a sportier version of a dress watch.

Exceptional. Maybe it is all that IG posts and/or heavy marketing campaigns that are working on me but this beauty makes the 5711 look really dated. The green is refreshing, the integrates bracelet makes this 5905 look casual and sporty, it does not look ...
Not that it will matter at all to the Patek-Mafia...
but... wow -- even to me, a Patek-skeptic--the profile is shockingly, inelegantly fat... almost 7750 inelegant... any other brand would be 'routinely criticized' for this at this price point... But too many people have too much $ invested in Patek to hold...
It is fine if you do not like this watch and explain why.
